1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Fonable, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of Fonable after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Service Usage

Fonable provides internet-based voice calling services. By using our service, you agree to:

  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Not use the service to harass, threaten, or defraud any person
  • Not attempt to circumvent any usage limits, security measures, or access controls
  • Not use the service for spamming, robocalling, or any automated mass-calling activity
  • Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these usage terms without prior notice.

3. Call Credits and Billing

Fonable operates on a prepaid credit system. Call credits are purchased in advance and deducted based on the duration and destination of each call. By purchasing credits, you acknowledge that:

  • Rates vary by destination and are displayed before each call
  • Credits are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash
  • Billing is calculated per minute, rounded up to the nearest minute
  • Purchased credits do not expire as long as your account remains active

4. Call Quality and Availability

Fonable relies on internet connectivity and third-party telecommunications infrastructure to deliver calls. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or specific call quality. Factors outside our control — including network congestion, carrier routing, and destination country regulations — may affect call quality or availability. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain service uptime but are not liable for disruptions caused by factors beyond our control.

5. Privacy and Call Data

Your use of Fonable is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Fonable, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy, including the processing of call metadata (numbers dialed, call duration, timestamps) necessary to route and bill calls.

6. Emergency Calls

Fonable does not support emergency calling (e.g., 911 or 112). Do not use Fonable to attempt to contact emergency services. Always use a traditional phone line or mobile carrier to reach emergency services. By using Fonable, you acknowledge this limitation and agree not to rely on Fonable for emergency communications.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a no-questions-asked refund within 2 weeks of your initial purchase if you are not satisfied with the service. After the 2-week window, refunds are not available for unused credits. Additionally:

  • Credits will be restored for calls that fail due to a verified error on our end
  • Refunds are not available for accounts suspended or terminated due to violations of these Terms of Service
